Duke of Gloucester’s Young Achievers Scheme

Posted: 2nd December 2013

The deadline for applications to The Duke of Gloucester's Young Achievers Scheme is fast approaching - all applications have to be in by 9th December.

The awards, organised by Construction Youth Trust, are a chance for exceptional young professionals currently working in the construction industry to shine! We are looking for those who have not only achieved excellence in their careers so far but may have had to overcome challenges to get there. We want to hear from individuals who have gone the extra mile to promote construction as a career or helped others in the wider community.

Shortlisted candidates will attend an awards dinner in London in March 2014, and winners will receive a cash prize as well as a unique package of mentoring and development opportunities.

If you think you know this year’s winner then forward this email on to them as time is running out. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the rising stars of the sector.

The Categories:

1. Construction Delivery - new category for 2014

2. Architecture/Design

3. Engineering

4. Project Management

5. Surveying

6. Overall winner (individual chosen from the winners of the other 5 categories)

Each of the categories is open to anyone under the age of 30 (on 30th January 2014) who is working in the construction industry.
