MBE KTN’s Innovation Zone goes to INSITE13
Posted: 16th August 2013
Nine exhibitors from the Modern Built Environment Knowledge Transfer Network’s Innovation Zone will be showcasing their solutions at BRE’s event on 2-3 October, which focuses on creating better buildings places for people.
The free Innovation Zone exhibition has been a fixture of Ecobuild for the past three years, giving UK innovators an opportunity show off their solutions directly to the public. Among the exhibitors at INSITE13 is Carbon 4 CAST, which won this year’s Innovation Zone competition at Ecobuild for its carbon assessment toolkit aimed at businesses.
The newly-refurbished BRE Watford Innovation Park Visitor Centre will also feature a free exhibition of products and INSITE 2013 delegates will learn about new constructions. They will also be the first to see the newly-refurbished Smart Home, originally featured 14 years ago on the BBC as an eco-home of the future and part of the British Gas Smart Home project.
