New CIAT President

Karl Grace MCIAT has been inaugurated as the 26th President of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT). Karl has been a sole practitioner based in the West Midlands since 1989. As an active member of the Institute, Karl was Honorary Secretary for over a decade.
The new President received the Chain of Office at the close of the Institute’s AGM held at Kings Place in London on 16 November.
Speaking of his appointment, Karl said ‘It is a tremendous honour and thrill to become the President of my Institute. I am passionate about the Architectural Technology discipline and CIAT. I look forward to building upon the work lead by Colin Orr, during his Presidency, and implementing the Institute’s five year Strategic Plan. I’m excited to lead CIAT into its 50th year in 2015.’
