Turlogh O'Brien CBE - the Chairman of CIC from 2002-2004 - recently stood down from his post as Chairman of L&Q, the large Social Housing provider active in London and the South East. Turlogh - who was Deputy Chairman of Arup at the time he was leading CIC- had served as L&Q chairman for nine years.
The tributes to his significant leadership of L&Q were led by another former CIC Chairman, the Rt Hon Nick Raynsford (chairman from 2006-2008) at a Reception in Turlogh's honour at the Royal Society of Arts on 12 September.
Turlogh continues his involvement in CIC as both the Chairman of the Trustees of Full Member, the Chartered Institute of Housing and Chairman of the Management Board for the Independent Appeals Tribunals.
