Government’s consultation on Statutory and Occupational Sick Pay Provision - call for evidence
The Government’s newly formed Work and Health Unit aims to improve integration across healthcare and employment services, as well as supporting employers to recruit and retain more disabled people and people with long term health conditions. WHU works across Whitehall, bringing together DWP and Department of Health and others (DCLG,NHSE).
Ahead of the Government’s pending White Paper the WHU is looking to speak to employer groups (particularly SMEs) on a number of specific areas, the subject for discussion would be Statutory and Occupational Sick Pay provision.
