CIC partners Construction United in its week long fundraising initiative
Posted: 29th April 2016
CIC is partnering with Construction United to actively highlight some of the serious issues faced by those within the industry through a week of events from the 17 – 23 October 2016.
Construction United is a coalition of stakeholders with a vested interest in promoting everything that is great about construction; it relies on everyone connected to the construction sector to stand together to pledge support, spread the word and take active part in the 2016 annual week of events and fundraising activities.
From the 17th to the 23rd October 2016 Construction United aims to get as many construction organisations as possible to run one or more of the following events:
- Big Brew Break – talk and fundraise over a cup of tea
- Sport and Support – organise a team sporting event to raise funds for charity
- Construct a Career - give a school or college a careers talk to encourage more people to the industry
- Construction on Camera – submit images of brilliant buildings to celebrate construction
Construction United’s designated charities are Crash, Mind and the Prince’s Trust.
