Home Office survey to help tackle crime against businesses
Posted: 20th June 2023
The Home Office is currently carrying out their annual survey about crimes experienced by businesses in England and Wales.
Taking part in the Commercial Victimisation Survey is your opportunity to help the Home Office to understand the nature, extent and cost of crimes against businesses and to tackle crime in our sector.
Each year, the results are used to:
- monitor crime trends
- understand the impact of crime
- identify what needs to be done to reduce crime and support victims
If your business is randomly selected to take part, an interviewer from the independent research organisation Ipsos will call you between August and November this year to conduct an interview (lasting around 20 minutes) over the telephone.
The Home Office wants to speak with as many businesses as possible, whether or not your business has been a victim of crime. Each response is important in order to get an accurate representation of the experience of businesses.
They would be very grateful if you would agree to take part.
2022’s findings can be found at the Home Office webpages, here.
