NBS Construction Contracts and Law Survey 2017
Posted: 12th September 2017
NBS have launched their fourth bi-annual Construction Contracts and Law Survey covering construction contracts used during the past 12 months.
The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete and your feedback will help NBS inform the development of construction contracts and dispute resolution methods in the construction industry. NBS will issue a pre-release report to participants; so if you respond, you’ll be among the first to see the findings.
The closing date for the survey is the 24 September 2017 and, as a thank you, all respondents will be entered into a prize draw. There will be 3 winners who can choose between a John Lewis voucher (first prize £250, and two runner up prizes of £150), or a donation of the same amount to a charity of their choice.
The first NBS Construction Contracts and Law Survey was issued back in 2012 and is open to all construction professionals to share their legal and contractual experiences over the last 12 months. The survey is designed to be the most wide-ranging independent review of contractual and legal issues from across the industry and we are expecting that the results will provide a clearer picture of whether collaborative techniques and processes, such as BIM, are fostering a less confrontational approach amongst project teams; as well as hoping to get an indication of the legal implications that those adopting BIM are having, following the 2016 Government mandate.
