Keynote speakers for Construction Industry Summit 2016 Programme

A distinguished set of Keynote Speakers/Panellists for the two-day Construction Industry Summit 2016, taking place on 20 and 21 September at Grange, St Paul’s Hotel, London, have been announced and include:
- David Hancock, Government Construction Team - Government Construction Strategy
- Lord Digby Jones, former Minister of State for UK Trade & Investment - A Post Brexit Country
- Anne Bentley, Rider Levitt Bucknall; David Cash, BDP; Mike Putnam, Skanska; Simon Rawlinson, Arcadia - Construction Leadership Council Question Time
- Maggie Philbin, Media Presenter, President Institute of Engineering Designers and co-founder and CEO Teen Tech - Technology, Diversity and Innovation
Also included in the programme is a comprehensive array of leading industry experts with presentations titled: Working with the Enemy: sharing, collaboration and trust; Disrupting the Norm; Buying Smart: better procurement and more sophisticated finance models; Smart Cities and Open Data: a data driven future; Delivering the Future: a skills base for the 21st century.
The Summit also features a plethora of Breakout Sessions that include Construction Youth Trust’s #notjustforboys debate, with panellists British Chinese stand-up comedian (and former Cambridge University Engineering student) Phil Wang and Sophie Walker, Leader of the Women’s Equality Party; Paul Morrell, former HM Government Chief Construction Adviser and Chair of Built Environment Professional Education Project (BEPE), on achieving an inclusive environment.
